Thinking of all John's friend's and family at this time.

As we approach the festive season, we wanted to let you know that we are thinking of you, your family and friends and hope that your tribute in John's memory continues to be a place of comfort to you all. We give heartfelt thanks for your kindness in supporting Embrace so generously in John's memory. Very warmest wishes for Christmas and the year ahead. From us all at Embrace. 

John was a great friend and we were privileged to have met him, he officiated at our blessing at St Marys and we enjoyed his company on many occasions, he kindly blessed our cottage for us when we moved to Herefordshire we were very fortunate to have been introduced to him by a mutual friend .God bless you John David and Heather

John and I were friends for over 80 years, having shared a desk together at Junior School in Ditton, Kent. He conducted the marriage of one of my daughters, Katy, in 1985. We kept in touch over the years, and my wife, Alex, and I enjoyed immensely his visit to us in August this year. We give thanks for his life, his friendship and his ministry. God bless him.

I worked for John in my role as caretaker of St Mary's Watford. He was a lovely boss, I have alot of good memories from my time working with him. Sorry we couldn't be there today, I am thinking of you and the family.

Be assured our thoughts and prayers are with you all as you face a difficult day today. We are so grateful for the life of John, and his faithful support of Embrace and love for the Middle East.

Like Irene, I have known John since we were children and he was indirectly responsible for my husband being ordained. So glad I stayed with him back in the Spring. I shall so miss his regular phone calls and the memories and laughter that we shared. A really good friend.

Gone, but never forgotten. We’ve been friends for over 80 years and now, sadly, that friendship thread has broken. So pleased we met up in June for our beach rendezvous with fish and chips! John will be sadly missed by family and friends. Heaven will be a richer place for him being there, reunited with his dear Rose , who was beside him for all those years as they served God together in many places

The "wicked" twinkle The genuine acceptance, warmth, love and care Acceptance without judgement or question Warmth that genuinely and generously enveloped Love in all its purest and truest forms, and always there Care when no one else did. My heart is so heavy, yet thankful that I have had the privilege of your wonderful friendship for the past 40 years. Thank you John xxx
